As Prime Consultant for this 3-phased 50,000-ton Chilled Water Plant, TEI was responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Site Civil, Geo-technical, and Structural Engineering Aspects of the plant.

The plant supplements the University’s existing integrated systems and replaced antiquated plants. TEI developed the commissioning specification and assisted in all aspects of commissioning. Economic analysis addressed a combination of design, maintenance, construction, and financial criteria to model the plant.

Design and Documentation included:

 

50,000 ton plant capacity
Site utilities (60” piping)
50 megawatt electrical service
Variable flow primary system

Fully automated PLC DOC control system:

 

Integrated operations with existing plants. Capable of “unmanned operation”. Extensive coordination with Design Team. Fast Track Construction
